About the team
As a Junior Backend Developer you’ll be a valued member of our backend team consisting of passionate, talented developers who like to be in the frontline of technical development. We’re a friendly and skilled group of people who like to challenge existing solutions and ways of working and share knowledge . 

You’ll develop the product and the technical platform for our thousands of users in the Nordic region. You’ll be critical in taking complex problems and creating simple, scalable solutions that elevate a world class experience for our users.

What you will do
•  Build and maintain scalable backend applications and services for Tradera.com
• Work in harmony with software engineers, product management, UX, and operational teams to develop the next generation of Tradera.
• Support our web and app teams in development of new features.
• Ensure that our users’ experience is the very best it can be.

Who are you?

We believe that you have about 2-3 years of experience, either work experience or from your own projects that you can show us. We believe that you are a curious, junior developer interested in both frontend and backend. You have a degree within computer science, or equivalent, and one year of work experience. You also have an interest in testing your technical skills and problem solving capabilities.

If you have experience of working with a high traffic website that's a big plus. Skills or experience in some of the technologies we work with would excite us, but we value your willingness to learn even more.
