About the team

As a Backend Developer within our Backend Product team, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the product experience for our diverse user base across the Nordic region. Your primary focus will be on developing the technical platform to deliver seamless and innovative solutions that enhance the overall user experience.

You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, UX designers, and operational teams, to translate user needs and business requirements into robust backend solutions. Our team is comprised of dedicated developers who thrive on pushing the boundaries of technical innovation and are passionate about delivering high-quality products.

Example of responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and maintenance of scalable backend applications and services for Tradera.com.
• Collaborate closely with software engineers, product management, and UX teams to prioritize and deliver features that resonate with our users.
• Provide support and guidance to our web and app teams in implementing new features and functionalities.
• Champion a user-centric approach to development, ensuring that our platform delivers the best possible experience for our users.
• You will work with languages and technologies such as .NET Core/C#, JavaScript, TypeScript, React.js, Next.js, RabbitMQ, MongoDB, Google Cloud Platform, Docker, Kubernetes Elasticsearch and SQL.

Who are you?

• 3+ years of professional experience within backend development in a product-driven environment.
• Experience in .NET/C#.
• Comfortable with tooling, build pipelines and getting code into production.
• You have a keen interest in developing large-scale, high-traffic websites as well as microservices, messaging, cloud solutions, and distributed systems. 
• Experience in e-commerce or web development is advantageous. 
• If you prioritize team success over personal achievement, you'll find Tradera to be an ideal workplace!
• You have a Swedish residence permit or work visa to work in Sweden or within EU.
